Leading smartphone maker, Xiaomi, is all set to launch it’s most-awaited Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphone today in Barcelona, Spain. Made in partnership with the camera giant Leica, Xiaomi 13 Pro expected to come with high-end specifications. The company has been teasing the smartphone on its social media handles to create a buzz around it.
Xiaomi 13 Pro Launch: Specs and Screening
As per the media reports, the new Xiaomi 13 series is expected to boast three models- Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and Xiaomi 13 Lite. For the uninitiated, the Chinese-maker has already launched Xiaomi 13 and its Pro models in China.
The company is expected to launch the Xiaomi 13 Lite as a rebranded version of Xiaomi Civi 2 launched in September 2022.
For its massive number of users in India, the company is organizing a separate screening in 7 different cities across the country. These cities include Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Belagavi, Chandigarh, and Vadodara. Therefore, if you’re residing to any of these cities, you can attend the live screening of the event.

The new Xiaomi 13 Pro confirmed to come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the company said. Apart from this, the smartphone will also boast Leica-engineered professional optical lens camera.

According to the Chinese smartphone maker, Xiaomi 13 will come with an industry-leading camera setup. For the first time in a smarpthone, the company sporting a Leica 75mm Floating Telephoto Lens.
The rear lens of 75mm is engineered to move back and forth when clicking pictures to create infinity focusing distance and create macro shots. We can only wait to see whether the claim fits true for the smartphone.
Talking about the performance, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 is a powerful and power-efficient processor that can handle any task with ease. According to Qualcomm, it has a clock speed of upto 3.36 GHz and upto peak download speed of 10 Gbps. Further, it offers 40% better power efficiency compared to its predecessor.
